Business Developer

General Responsibilities:

We are seeking a talented Business Developer who will be responsible for low voltage systems system design & sales ranging from A/V, Security, Lighting & control, motorized window treatments, automation, networking and more. Prospecting, cold calling, and networking in order to generate new business is a key consideration of the position. The Business Developer will be provided with in-house support resources for the designing, engineering, integration, and installation of products. Additionally, other corporate supported personnel are provided for exclusive and semi-exclusive products.

Responsibilities

  • Generate industry relationships and provide client assistance.
  • Grow and manage an existing account base of dedicated customers.
  • Conduct meetings with decision-makers to thoroughly understand client needs and to provide solutions.
  • Prepare proposals and bid specifications to strategically win new business.
  • Manage the sales process from initial meeting through closing including thorough documentation of client needs and future opportunities.
  • Develop project designs and initial job specifications.
  • Provide call lists, sales forecasts, and other reporting items as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three or more years in the audio, video, and / or broadcast industry.
  • Three or more years of sales experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Possess strong written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to travel locally, attend industry events, and occasional seminars.

    Control System Programmer

    General Responsibilities:

    The Control System Programmer will be responsible for writing code and commissioning complex audio video systems. He/She would be responsible for planning, developing, testing and implementing control system code, audio files, and other equipment-related configurations. In addition, he/she would also perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations locally and nationally. Demonstrating the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and projects, the Control System Programmer will be able to think independently within the specified guideline and effectively interact with employees and clients.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop systems integration programs for various control systems
    • Design and develop custom graphical user interface (GUI) on control system touch panels
    • Coordinate the creation and integration of A/V control system programs
    • Troubleshoot and debug A/V systems
    • Peer review code from fellow programmers to ensure accuracy and efficiency
    • Maintain software project documentation in company database
    • Professionally represent Cenero clients showing empathy, patience and competence
    • Maintain a positive, professional attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment
    • Complete training programs and gain certifications for manufacturers, industry associations and company as required

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of three years of control system programming experience
    • Familiarity with GUI design and graphics applications is required

    • Minimum of three years of on-site commissioning experience is required
    • Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers and VPN.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as well as changing priorities

    Custom Window Treatment Installer

    General Responsibilities:

    The custom window treatment installer will work independently (and with a team) towards the completion of project-based window treatment installations and service calls. This person will be responsible for the timely completion of daily tasks, procedures and documentation they are assigned ranging from installing manual and motorized window treatments ranging from roller shades, roman shades, drapery tracks including bent and curved tracks. The technician should be professional, well organized and adept at balancing a range of tasks. The successful candidate must be hard working, computer proficient, have a clean driving record and be a real team player.

    Job Requirements:

    • 2+ years of window treatment installation experience
    • Construction (carpentry) experience
    • Good base of mechanical skills
    • Good physical condition – able to safely lift 50 lbs
    • Ability to quickly learn new products and systems
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Clean drug test & background check
    • Neat and clean appearance
    • Excellent communication & basic math skills
    • Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) is a plus

    Project Manager

    General Responsibilities:

    The Project Manager will be working with the management team towards successful execution of a range of low voltage systems. The project manager will be responsible for overall quality of the projects we are delivering as well as helping us identify technicians strengths and weaknesses. They are also responsible for all phases of events including cost and budgetary considerations, implementation and post-project follow-up. The Project Manager will determine all technical requirements for scope of a project: including logistics, scheduling, power requirements and site requirements, room drawings (CAD), as needed. The PM will work with the management team in the planning and scheduling of qualified technicians, as needed, for each project, including projects with multiple functions and site locations. The Project Manager will also coordinate, well in advance, the scheduling, and often attending, site surveys as determined by individual projects. Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum of five years experience in systems design and project management.
    • Minimum of five years experience with Crestron automation.
    • Proficient in Autocad and visio
    • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
    • Complete understanding of all aspects of integrated systems
    • Professional attitude and team player.
    • Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Solid understanding of residential and commercial construction.
    • Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment.
    • The ability to travel to project sites as needed

    • Advanced troubleshooting of simple and complex systems
    • Advanced networking/data system design, install and setup
    • Complete programming of advanced systems
    • Support of legacy and/or third-party products and systems
    • Complete understanding of multi-room systems and setup
    • Advanced understanding of security system programming and design

    Job Requirements:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
    • Ability to work rotating “on-call” service schedule
    • Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
    • Clean driving record and background check
    • Minimum of 3 years field experience
    • Solid experience with projectors, screens, displays, wiring, cabling, computer controls, rack-building; the complete AV equipment package. Experience working onsite at customer’s business.
